Can I call other users even if I'm not a user myself?
Yes. You can try out Questico without obligation. Just click "Call Now" to the left of a service or advisor. Enter your telephone number and e-mail address in the window that appears. You can make a call with free credit. Please register if you are planning on making a longer call, as otherwise the call will be cut off automatically once your free credit runs out.
What are call invitations with free minutes?
Experts can mail invitations to Questico users and prospective customers offering them free minutes. If, for example, you are given 5 free minutes, the first five minutes of your next call with the sender of the e-mail are completely free, irrespective of the advisor's price. Once the free minutes have run out, the call is automatically debited from your account or credit card.
The free minutes can only be used during one call and expire 14 days from when the advisor sends the e-mail. If you receive several e-mails from the same advisor, your minutes are added together. If free minutes are used by new customers, the free credit or the remainder of the free credit becomes invalid.
What happens when my free credit is used up?
When this happens, you can continue to make telephone calls once you have given us your payment details. To do this, just click "My Account" on the top navigation bar. Here, you can give details of your credit card or current account (in the case of direct debit).
Under "My Account" on the top navigation bar in the "Account Status" submenu you can see an overview of your telephone calls and the costs accrued in the current month. At the end of the month we will automatically debit the amount for the calls made that month from your credit card or current account.
You can also top up your account by recruiting new Questico users and through earnings from telephone calls they make.

Receiving regular customer discounts
What is regular customer discount?
With the regular customer discount you can telephone your favourite advisors cheaper. For a period of two or four weeks, the advisor can give you every 5th or 10th minute free on all calls. You are a regular customer of an advisor that you have called at least five times.
How is this different from free minutes?
The regular customer discount applies to all calls during the given two or four weeks. Therefore, it is particularly attractive if you frequently call certain advisors.
You get free minutes from advisors that you call less often. However, an advisor can only give you either free minutes or a regular customer discount, not both.
How do I find out about the regular customer discount?
You receive an automatic e-mail once the discount has been granted. The listing for the advisor in question also displays a "Regular Customer Discount" logo when you are logged on.
In addition, the "My Questico" page provides a list of the advisors with active regular customer discounts and free minutes.
Customers without Internet access can ask before the call whether they have a regular customer discount or free minutes.
Can an advisor give me a regular customer discount and free minutes at the same time?
No. When one function is active, the other does not work.

Free reading for new customers
What is the free reading for new customers?
Every new Questico customer gets a free reading after registering. The free call is technically unlimitted by Questico.
Does the free reading really not cost me anything?
The free reading is completely free of charge for you. Questico pays for the telephone costs and the advisors provide their reading for free. To avail of your free call, you only need to register your details with payment information, free of charge and without obligation. (Mobile phone charges may vary using the 0808 numbers).
Where can I make use of the free reading?
The free reading is intended for new customers only. The free experts are therefore not on home page.

You can expect the quality of the advice provided by Questico partners to be on average better than that provided by amateur advisors.

Calls
How can I call another user?
When you have found a contact of interest among the Questico users, click the "Call Now" icon next to the user name. Questico will now call you and ask you to accept the call by pressing "1" on your keypad.
When your call is over, Questico will ask you to assess your contact. To do this, you can either enter a mark of 1 to 5 (5 = best rating) via your telephone or go to the Web site and assess the performance of your contact there in detail.
Who actually pays for a call?
Whoever initiates a call pays a charge that is made up of your contact's requested price per minute, the telephone costs and Questico's fee.
For users who are called by you the call is free, they even earn money through it.
How much does a call with a Questico user cost?
Each user fixes a required price per minute. On top of your contact's required price, you must pay the telephone charge and Questico's fee. To find the final price, check the relevant service in the Questico directory.
The telephone costs for landline calls are £ 0.40 per minute. If either of the two contacts is using a mobile phone, the telephone costs are £ 0.75 per minute. The Questico fee is 40% of the charge for the information (final price minus telephone charges).
A one-off connection charge of £ 0.50 is incurred for calls successfully arranged by our staff. This does not apply to free calls. Please use the free, automatic connection.
What happens when a user cannot be contacted?
In this case, you can send your potential contact a Questico e-mail and arrange a call time on Questico.
I have only one telephone line, can I still take part on Questico?
Of course. When you become a user, one of the things we ask you on the registration page is whether you use the same telephone line for calls and online access.
If this is the case, we remind you before each telephone call to terminate your online connection. After we have alerted you, you have about 30 seconds to activate your telephone line by terminating your online application. Then your telephone will ring and the call can begin.
It is easier if you have a mobile phone or ISDN line. Then you can surf the Internet and use the telephone at the same time.

Privacy & Data protection
Can Questico employees listen in on my calls?
No. Thanks to our strict security measures and provisions to protect the privacy of our users, your personal data and the calls you make or receive always remain fully confidential.
Can other users find out my telephone number?
No. The only things that other users can see are your user name and entry in the service lists. When you yourself want to call a contact, Questico sets up the connection between the two of you. In this way, your contact cannot see your telephone number even if they have a telephone with caller display.
How can I prevent other users from finding me under my real name or e-mail address?
Questico does not publish your name and e-mail address with your profile. Nevertheless, we allow users who already know your real name and e-mail address to find you via an entry in our search engine. This is only possible if you checked the box next to the relevant wording when registering as a user. If you change your mind, go via "My Account" on the top navigation bar to the "Amend Personal Data" page and change the relevant preference there.

What are the ratings?
The rating reflects the collective assessment of an advisor by all those Questico users who have a reading with this advisor. Users assess their advisors by awarding them stars where 5 stars is the best and one star the worst rating. Besides the star rating, each user is free to make a personal comment on the quality of the advisor's reading. Note that this comment must not exceed 255 characters.
How can I rate my advisor?
At the end of your telephone reading we will ask you to rate the advisor. Enter a number from 1 (worst) to 5 (best)on your telephone keypad. Alternatively, click "My Account" and then "My Account Movements". Here you will find a list of your telephone calls. Click "Leave Feedback" and then enter your feedback.

Call-back feature
What is the call-back feature?
The call-back feature calls you automatically when your advisor is free to give you a reading. If the advisor is
How does call-back work exactly?
If the advisor is "not available" or "busy" a "Not there - call back" icon appears next to his or her listing. When you click this you can give a period of between one and 48 hours during which we will call you back and a return call number. As soon as the advisor is available, we will automatically call you and connect you to the advisor.
Will Questico always call me?
If several people are waiting for the advisor you will be in a queue. As soon as the advisor is available the customers in the queue will be called and connected to the advisor. If the time window given by you passes you are automatically removed from the queue.
What happens if I do not answer when Questico calls me?
If you do not answer, you will be removed from the queue and we will call the next person in the queue.
How long do I have to wait for the advisor?
Our average call length is around 15 minutes. So if, for example, you are fourth in the queue the probable wait will be around an hour. This can, however, vary from advisor to advisor.
What happens if I change my mind and don't want to be called back?
Just go to My Questico and delete your call-backs from the list.
How much does the call-back by Questico cost me?
The call-back is free of charge, you only start paying the published fee per minute once you are connected to the advisor.

How do I use 0808 - Questico?
- Dial 0808 - Questico (0808 238 1707) from any telephone.
- Give our user of staff your telephone number and two digits of your telephone PIN as identification.
- Then give a reference, an advisor' name or a subject you want advice on.
- We will inform you of the call costs and connect you to the chosen advisor.
Where do I find my telephone number and the telephone PIN?
You will find your telephone number in "Telephone number, e-mail, password, home page" under the menu item "My Questico". When you register the telephone PIN will be sent to you automatically.
You can request a new telephone PIN from 0808 238 1708 (Mon - Sun from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM).
How can I change the telephone number or telephone PIN?
You will find your telephone number in "Telephone number, e-mail, password, home page" under the menu item "My Questico".
Where do I find the reference for the advisor I want?
Each advisor has a Questico reference which appears to the left of the description of each of his or her listings.
What if a Questico advisor is not available?
In this case, you either choose another advisor or our staff will suggest the most successful available advisor.
Do Questico calls cost more through 0808 - Questico?
No. They cost exactly the same as those through www.questico.co.uk. With 0808 - Questico you also don't pay anything until the connection with the advisor is set up.

Questico readings via chat
What is a Questico reading via chat?
Many Questico advisors offer readings by Internet chat rather as well as by telephone.
How does chat work?
You choose an advisor who is available to chat. Then click "Chat Now". Questico sets up the connection with the advisor. You can now chat. When you want to terminate the chat click "End Chat".
You will find the advisors available either at the end of the home page or in each category under the respective link.
How much do readings via chat cost?
The advisor can fix the price per minute herself/himself. The price is only calculated from the advisor's first reply. If the advisor does not take up the chat you do not incur any costs.
