Telekinesis

"What is Telekinesis - does ist really work and how does it work?" - a question by Phil B. from Lancaster

Telekinesis is described as the ability to influence physical reality by the use of the mind. A typical example is that of spoon-bending; also included is the prediction of the results of throwing dice. In spite of the many, often impressive series of tests and demonstrations of such abilities, (e.g. the famous spoon bending by Uri Geller), there has been no case to date which could be successfully and authentically repeated under laboratory test conditions. As a result, the majority of the scientific community regards the existence of telekinesis as doubtful. Proponents of the telekinesis theory believe that it is precisely this doubt which is part of the problem, because doubt must also have a psychokinetic effect and thus prevent the appearance of proof. So all in all, it’s a question of faith!
